Terms and conditions

  • 1. Please make sure items bought to me are in a clean condition. And, where possible, washed before hand.

  • 2. A £10 deposit is required on every single item that is bought to me. This can be paid either with cash or via bank transfer. Please take note that this must be received, in order for me to start the work. So if paying by transfer after drop off, make sure this is done in good time. Details for the bank transfer can be obtained upon request.

  • 3. When items, such as fabric, need to be bought by me, for a job, payment for this will be requested before I can order it. This is to stop customers from pulling out of jobs.

  • 4. When wanting items such as Bridal wear and special occasion dresses altered for specific dates, please make sure that you inform me of when they are needed back by, and please make sure that you book your first fitting appointment with me well in advance. (At least 1 month, as a guide). I will get the garment(s) altered for you as promptly as possible, to alleviate any stress (and to leave time for any further alterations that may be needed).

    Please make sure that if there are any problems with the alterations, that you inform me within 7 days of receiving the garment(s) back. I can then try and resolve any issues with you, as quickly as possible. If you leave it any longer/too close to the deadline, I will not be held responsible for any stress, etc. your end! And will also not be able to refund you at all, if I can not fit in any more alterations on the garment(s).

  • 5. When jobs are complete, payment and collection is required within 7 days of you, the customer, being notified that your item is ready (allowances can be made, if you are away or unable to for certain circumstances, such as illness. But please make sure that I am made aware of this as soon as possible. If you are planning on being away while I have your item, please make me aware of this). Payment can be made either by cash on collection, or, bank transfer before collection (I will confirm once payment has come through, and you can then come and collect the item).
